Three routes to citizenship

01 / 04

Confirmation

If you or an ancestor were a Polish citizen and citizenship was never lost. Decided by the voivode.

02 / 04

Recognition (uznanie)

After 10 years of continuous residence + PR + stable income + Polish B1.

03 / 04

Naturalisation (nadanie)

By decision of the President of Poland. Grounds: 3 years PR + integration. No statutory deadline.

04 / 04

Fast-track naturalisation

For refugees (after 2 years PR), stateless persons, spouses of Polish citizens (after 3 years of marriage + 2 years PR).
